Chancey Announces The Arbor at Watercolor Place, New Senior Living Community Near Lakewood Ranch Opening in Early 2028
BRADENTON/SARASOTA, Fla. (February 2026) — Chancey Development and BRW has announced plans for The Arbor at Watercolor Place, a new 196-residence senior living community coming to Manatee County a mile north of Lakewood Ranch. The four-story community is scheduled to open in early 2028.
Chancey Development is serving as the developer, with Chancey Architecture & Interior Design leading the architectural and interior design for the project. The Arbor Company will operate the community.
The Arbor at Watercolor Place will offer a full continuum of care, including:
96 Independent Living residences
76 Assisted Living residences (30 designed in the style of independent living)
24 Memory Care residences
Residences will range from 400-square-foot studios to 1,460-square-foot two-bedroom, two-bath apartments with den options. Select units will include private balconies.
The community will feature covered parking spaces, and a robust amenity package designed to support wellness, connection, and active living.
Exterior amenities include:
